Once you have identified your export market or markets, you will need to develop a new market strategy to include new customers and relationships. OTEXA can help you market your products and develop your brand as well as help you meet with potential buyers. Creating a customer base in a foreign country will require an investment of time and energy, but will prove advantageous as your business grows and your prospective market diversifies.


Showcasing Your Company at Trade Shows

Industry trade shows occur throughout the world and provide you with an opportunity to meet with businesses and buyers.

OTEXA organizes and sponsors USA pavilions and catalogue-sample exhibits at international trade shows across the globe. Under OTEXA’s pavilion program, you can setup a booth at these trade shows to show your goods and products to prospective buyers. In addition, translators are available as needed and you will have full access and use of the staffed business information office at the pavilion. OTEXA and its partners also assist in marketing and publicity.

In addition, if you are not ready to staff a full booth or attend a trade show, you can participate in the sample/catalogue booth managed by OTEXA. This will allow your company to highlight product samples and provide information on your business. OTEXA will promote your products and provide you with leads that have been collected.

Eligibility Requirements for OTEXA’s services

OTEXA provides its services to U.S. national companies. Products offered for sale by your company should be manufactured or produced in the U.S. If your products are manufactured or produced outside of the U.S., they must be marketed under the name of a U.S. firm and have U.S. content representing at least 51% of the value of the finished product. The calculation of the domestic content of said products will include the value of the raw materials and component parts, manufacturing process, advertising and promotion, distribution, warehousing, designs, and other intellectual property.
