EMPOWER HER is the GM/US&FOCS’s partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU) and AmChams in Europe (ACE) to bolster direct engagement by businesses to define and promote actionable steps they will commit to in order to advance women’s economic empowerment and entrepreneurship.

March 24, 2022: Transatlantic Conference, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announce its planned joint initiative with AmCham EU to promote and empower women’s advancement in international trade. Watch Secretary Raimondo’s Statement

9 May, 2022: EMPOWER HER  officially launched by Susan Danger, CEO, AmCham EU and Dale Tasharski, Deputy Director General of the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, signing the declaration of cooperation during a meeting with Diane Farrell, Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade in Washington, D.C.

“AmCham Turkey Women Executive Mentorship Program”

On June 29, 2022 AmCham Turkey launched 8th term of “AmCham Turkey Women Executive Mentorship Program” with the attendance of 22 Mentors & 22 Mentees this year! 

At the event, AmCham introduced “EMPOWER HER” project to its members.
