U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service Deputy Director General Golsen to Attend Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening of the West Rural Export Center in Las Vegas, Nevada

WASHINGTON - On Friday, December 8, 2023, Deputy Director General of the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service James Golsen will be in Las Vegas, Nevada, to participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening of the International Trade Administration’s (ITA) West Rural Export Center in downtown Las Vegas. 

Additionally, Deputy Director General Golsen will oversee presentations of U.S. Department of Commerce Export Achievement Certificate to Karunesh Gupta, CEO of Ganesha Enterprises LLC, a rural and a minority-owned confectionery and snack food manufacturer from Northern Nevada, and Robbin Turner, CEO of Sable Systems International Inc, a woman-owned metabolic measurement systems manufacturer from Southern Nevada. The Export Achievement Certificate recognizes their success in exporting to new international markets. 

The West Rural Export Center in Las Vegas is the fourth facility of its kind in the United States and will support rural U.S. businesses across Nevada, California, Hawaii, and U.S. territories in the Pacific, to bring local products and services to world markets, creating jobs across America as a result.
