The SEO is an integral part of the International Trade Administration.
We work to ensure a level global playing field for U.S. businesses by actively addressing unfair foreign government subsidies through countervailing duty (CVD) investigations, petition counseling, advocacy, monitoring and analysis, and direct intervention with foreign governments on behalf of U.S. producers and exporters.
The SEO also provides access to informational resources useful to U.S. businesses seeking to understand the distorting role that unfair foreign subsidies play in the global trade environment.
Report on Unfair Foreign Subsidies to Seasonal and Perishable Products
Commerce has established a new formal channel for stakeholders to provide information related to unfair subsidies for foreign producers and exporters of seasonal and perishable products, including those in Mexico.
