Services for Trade Associations and U.S. EDOs
Certified Trade Missions
U.S. Department of Commerce Certified Trade Missions (CTMs) are overseas events planned, organized, recruited, and led by private and public sector export-oriented groups outside of the U.S. Department of Commerce. CTMs are hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s overseas Commercial Service offices.
CTMs bring representatives of U.S. companies into contact with potential agents, distributors, joint venture partners, licensees, local businesses, and government contacts.
Market Development Cooperator Program
Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) financial assistance awards go to trade associations and other non-profit industry groups. The ultimate beneficiaries of MDCP-funded projects are individual U.S. businesses and the U.S. workers they employ.
The average Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) project lasts over three years and generates over $96 million in exports, or about $32 million per year. Each project creates or sustains 178 U.S. jobs per year!
