Import Tariffs
Last published date:

Jordan Customs uses the Customs Integrated Tariff System (CITS), which importers can utilize to determine commodity tariffs, import conditions, trade agreements, regulations, and other requirements.  For further information on customs procedures, please refer to the Jordan Customs website.

The FTA eliminates most duties and tariffs on commerce between the United States and Jordan.  Additional taxes may apply to some products; a complete description of these commodities is also available at the Customs Department website. Detailed lists of the general and special sales tax can be viewed at Jordan’s Income and Sales Tax Department’s website.

To look up duties and tariffs use, use the Customs Info Database tariff look-up tool, available on trade.gov (free registration required), to estimate duties and taxes.
