Moldova has signed free trade agreements with 47 countries, among them member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), European Union (AA/DCFTA) and Turkiye.  In June 2023, Moldova signed a free trade agreement with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), comprising of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, expected to come into effect in 2024.
