All products will require some minimum form of labelling as outlined in the national compulsory standard TTS76:
PART 1: 2006: Requirements for labelling – part 1 – General Principles.
These requirements include but are not limited to the following:
- Description of product which includes size, date of manufacture, volume, and weight.
- Name and address that enables the consumer to locate and identify who is the manufacturer, distributor, seller, or refiller.
- Country of origin in a form such as “product of,” “made in,” “manufactured in,” or “assembled in.”
- Information regarding any specific dangers which may be related to the use of the goods and or packaging and shall provide first aid instruction where applicable.
