Rural Export Center Trainings

You can participate in training in three areas being offered by the Rural Export Center - website globalization, customizable research and international market research.

These webinars equip you with practical skills to begin improving your international brand and information about where to look to go further.  Once travel restrictions are lifted, we will begin offering in-person trainings in rural areas of the United States. You can contact the REC to notify us of your interest in having an in-person training in your region.

Website Globalization

Website globalization seminars will help you make your website more internationally friendly and uses free and simple tools to drive more international traffic your way. Learn how to increase the number of international visitors to your website via improved Search Engine Optimization, Google trends and more. In addition, we will be offering a hands-on four week, paid course that will go further. Gain a better idea of who is visiting your website, leverage state and/or federal grants to cover costs of globalizing your website. Go deeper on topics like domain strategy, Google tools, and translation.

International Market Research

The International Market Research seminars demo free websites that can be used for your own internal market research. These websites are easy and practical, and can give you an upper hand when deciding on your next international market. Learn about identifying top markets, classifying your product, determining trade flows for your products, and more. In addition to the free introductory webinar, there will also be a fee-based multi-day course to help you go deeper into the topics and hear from experienced exporters who have benefited from market research.
