U.S. professional services providers interested in entering the Kenyan market need to be aware of the legal statutes governing their profession. For instance, engineering and accounting firms must be members in good standing, of the Engineering Authority of Kenya (EAK) and Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK) respectively. Legal service providers must be registered members of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), to practice.
