REEEAC
In support of U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency manufacturers and services providers, the U.S. Department of Commerce has re-established the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (REEEAC). The REEEAC shall advise the Secretary regarding the development and administration of programs and policies to expand the competitiveness of U.S. exports of renewable energy and energy efficiency goods and services, in accordance with applicable United States regulations. In total, the 6th Charter of the REEEAC (2020-2022) held nine meetings and submitted 12 recommendations to the U.S. Department of Commerce.
On May 27, 2022, the REEEAC was rechartered for 2022-2024 (7th Charter). Please refer to the revised charter below for details on the scope, roles/responsibilities, and diversity requirements.
The fourth meeting of the 7th charter will be held in person on Thursday, September 21, 2023 in Washington, DC from approximately 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the U.S. Department of Commerce. It will also be accessible to the public as a live stream via WebEx Webinar. Members of the public wishing to participate either in person or online must register in advance with Designated Federal Officer Cora Dickson at the contact information below by 5:00 PM EDT on Monday September 18, 2023.
