Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee
Supporting the U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency manufacturers and services providers.

REEEAC

In support of U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency manufacturers and services providers, the U.S. Department of Commerce has re-established the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (REEEAC). The REEEAC shall advise the Secretary regarding the development and administration of programs and policies to expand the competitiveness of U.S. exports of renewable energy and energy efficiency goods and services, in accordance with applicable United States regulations.

At the first REEEAC meeting on May 26, 2021, the REEEAC members established four subcommittees:

  • Trade Promotion and Market Access;
  • Global Decarbonization;
  • Clean Energy Supply Chains; and
  • Technology and Innovation.

The U.S. Department of Commerce will host the next meeting of REEEAC Charter 6 (2020-2022) on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 2:30 - 3:30 PM EDT. It will be held virtually and will be open to the public, with advance registration required by 5:00 PM EDT on Thursday, October 28, 2021. Please refer to the Federal Register Notice for details.
