Singapore Green Initiative

Singapore’s National Development Agency stresses that sustainability is an essential and existential issue, and there is a growing demand for a green economy for Singapore. Singapore aims to establish itself as a sustainability hub while fulfilling its carbon commitments and contributing to the global plan to tackle climate change.

In line with the Singapore Government’s push towards sustainability under the Singapore Green Plan 2030, Singapore is well-positioned to be a carbon services trading hub, taking advantage of its natural location as a trusted broker and professional services and financial hub.

To support these Green Initiatives, the Singapore Government has committed $161 million into national research initiatives focusing on sustainability and is actively seeking talent with relevant skills such as project development, financing, low-carbon advisory and trading.
