The Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation is listing proposals from experienced U.S. companies to provide heavy transportation and parts to support post-earthquake reconstruction. The scope of the request includes small to large autobuses and heavy trucks. 

Airport Services & Equipment

The Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation is listing proposals from experienced U.S. companies to provide airport security services and equipment to support post-earthquake reconstruction. The scope of the request includes X-ray machines, body scanning devices, metal detectors, cameras, and firetrucks. 

Airplane Engines & Parts 

The Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation is listing proposals from experienced U.S. companies to provide airplane motors and parts to support post-earthquake reconstruction. The scope of the request includes: Manufacturers of high-bypass turbofan engines for regional jets (including equivalent OEM or joint-venture licensing rights), manufacturers of light and medium-lift turboprop engines, and avionics systems and navigation databases compatible with wide-body commercial airliners, narrow-body regional jets, single-engine utility turboprops, and twin-engine turboprop regional fleets. 

Port Equipment & Dredging 

The Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation is listing proposals from experienced U.S. companies to provide port and dredging equipment to support post-earthquake reconstruction. The scope of the request includes: Ship-to-Shore (STS) container cranes, harbor tugboats with a bollard pull capacity of 50 to 80 metric tons, and trailing suction hopper dredgers (TSHD) with hopper capacities ranging from 4,000 to 6,000 cubic meters. 

Digital Postal Services 

The Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation is listing proposals from experienced U.S. companies to assist in automating Venezuela’s state postal service provider’s (IPOSTEL) postal sorting system. The scope of the request will be to provide an evaluation of an automated postal services sorting system to modernize Venezuela’s IPOSTEL. 

CORPOELEC Equipment & Parts

The Venezuelan state electricity company, CORPOELEC, is listing proposals from experienced U.S. companies to provide replacement distribution and transmission equipment and parts. The scope of the request includes single- and three-phase autotransformers, circuit breakers, lead-acid battery banks, rectifiers, and a portable gas-in-oil analyzer (DGA). 

PDVSA Equipment and Parts

The Venezuelan state-owned oil and natural gas company, PDVSA, is seeking comprehensive proposals from experienced U.S. companies to supply critical equipment, technology, and support services to modernize, repair, and maintain its upstream, midstream, and downstream infrastructure. The scope of this multi-tier trade opportunity spans across key operational sectors—ranging from advanced drilling systems and heavy industrial machinery to electrical distribution and logistics management.

Demolition & Debris Removal Equipment (Equipment Train)

The Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation seeks requests for proposals from experienced U.S. companies to provide heavy construction and demolition equipment to support post-earthquake reconstruction. The scope of the request includes an integrated equipment fleet featuring: excavators (with long-reach booms, hydraulic shears, and buckets), wheel front-end loaders, 30-ton capacity dump trucks, lighting towers, 4x4 service vehicles, 100-150 kVA generator sets, pneumatic demolition breakers (185 cfm), complete oxy-fuel cutting kits, 10,000-liter water tankers, lowboy tractor-trailers, and heavy machinery attachments.

Global Business Navigator Chatbot Beta

Welcome to the Global Business Navigator, an artificial intelligence (AI) Chatbot from the International Trade Administration (ITA). This tool, currently in beta version testing, is designed to provide general information on the exporting process and the resources available to assist new and experienced U.S. exporters. The Chatbot, developed using Microsoft’s Azure AI services, is trained on ITA’s export-related content and aims to quickly get users the information they need. The Chatbot is intended to make the benefits of exporting more accessible by understanding non-expert language, idiomatic expressions, and foreign languages.

Limitations

As a beta product, the Chatbot is currently being tested and its responses may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information. The Chatbot is trained to decline out of scope or inappropriate requests. The Chatbot’s knowledge is limited to the public information on the Export Solutions web pages of Trade.gov, which covers a wide range of topics on exporting. While it cannot provide responses specific to a company’s product or a specific foreign market, its reference pages will guide you to other relevant government resources and market research. Always double-check the Chatbot’s responses using the provided references or by visiting the Export Solutions web pages on Trade.gov. Do not use its responses as legal or professional advice. Inaccurate advice from the Chatbot would not be a defense to violating any export rules or regulations.

Privacy

The Chatbot does not collect information about users and does not use the contents of users’ chat history to learn new information. All feedback is anonymous. Please do not enter personally identifiable information (PII), sensitive, or proprietary information into the Chatbot. Your conversations will not be connected to other interactions or accounts with ITA. Conversations with the Chatbot may be reviewed to help ITA improve the tool and address harmful, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate questions.

Translation

The Chatbot supports a wide range of languages. Because the Chatbot is trained in English and responses are translated, you should verify the translation. For example, the Chatbot may have difficulty with acronyms, abbreviations, and nuances in a language other than English.
