On January 16, 2026, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its preliminary affirmative determination in the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of L-lysine (lysine) from the People’s Republic of China (China).

  • Unless postponed, the final determination in this CVD investigation is currently scheduled to be issued on May 18, 2026.
