Brazil Design and Construction
Brazil’s construction sector accounts for approximately 4% of GDP, representing a USD 92 billion market. Growth is being driven by residential construction, including approximately 438,000 housing units built between April 2025 and April 2026, nearly half of which were low-income housing, as well as expanding investments in data centers, logistics facilities, education, industrial developments, and public-private infrastructure projects.
This growth is increasing demand for aluminum windows, doors, and façade systems. According to the Brazilian Association of Aluminum Windows and Doors Frames (AFEAL), member companies continue to invest in production capacity and have expressed sustained interest in sourcing U.S. technologies and equipment.
Priority procurement areas include:
• Aluminum profiles and custom extrusions
• Window, door, façade, and glazing systems
• Locks, hinges, rollers, tracks, and glazing hardware
• CNC machining, cutting, and automation equipment
• Robotic handling and automated fabrication systems
• Powder coating, anodizing, and finishing equipment
• Architectural, insulated, tempered, and laminated glass
• Fabrication, cut optimization, and production software
For U.S. companies, Brazil’s expanding construction market presents opportunities to supply advanced manufacturing equipment, building systems, automation technologies, architectural glass, and software that improve productivity, quality, and energy efficiency. Continued investment in housing and commercial construction is expected to sustain demand for high-value building products and production technologies.
