Janee Pierre-Louis

JanĆ©e Pierre-Louis is the Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan. Previously, she served as Deputy Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa, providing operational oversight of Commercial Service teams in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Calgary, as well as the delivery of core programs. JanĆ©e has also served at the U.S. Embassy in Paris and the American Institute in Taiwan – Kaohsiung Branch Office. She completed a domestic assignment at the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Pierre-Louis began working for the U.S. Department of Commerce in 2002, where she monitored China’s WTO compliance and coordinated small business outreach, while concurrently serving as Mongolia Desk Officer. Prior to entering government service, she spent several years working in the private sector in Taiwan and Washington, DC. 

She holds a M.S. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a B.A. in International Business from Washington University in St. Louis. JanĆ©e speaks Mandarin Chinese and French.
