As an example, the firm’s principal attorney, Charles Lee Mudd Jr., has been a member of the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw) for more than twenty-five years and recently completed tenure as a member of its Board of Directors.  He has been admitted to the International Institute of Space Law.  He maintains memberships in the American Astronomical Society, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, European Centre for Space Law, IEEE, Internet Law Leadership Summit, and the National Space Society.  Charles currently serves on the Board of Directors for NewSpace Chicago. He also regularly engages in thought leadership. He regularly speaks and writes on matters related to the firm’s practice areas. He has participated in and presented at United Nations conferences, provided testimony before a federal agency, and lectured at universities in the United States and abroad. Most recently, he became an adjunct professor in space law at his alma mater Quinnipiac University School of Law.  Over the last several years, he completed graduate astrophysics coursework at the University of Chicago and currently proceeds through its graduate program in data analytics, AI, and Machine Learning.
