Final Determinations in the Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Investigations of Wood Mouldings and Millwork Products from Brazil and China

On December 29, 2020, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its affirmative final determination in the antidumping duty (AD) investigation of wood mouldings and millwork products from China, as well as its affirmative final determination in the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of wood mouldings and millwork products from China. Commerce also announced a negative final determination in the AD investigation of wood mouldings and millwork products from Brazil.

The petitioner is the Coalition of American Millwork Producers, whose members are Bright Wood Corporation (Madras, OR), Cascade Wood Products, Inc. (White City, OR), Endura Products, Inc. (Colfax, NC), Sierra Pacific Industries (Red Bluff, CA), Sunset Moulding (Live Oak, CA), Woodgrain Millwork, Inc. (Fruitland, ID), and Yuba River Moulding (Yuba City, CA).

Commerce currently maintains 542 AD and CVD orders which provide relief to American companies and industries impacted by unfair trade.

Since the beginning of the Trump Administration, Commerce has initiated 306 new AD and CVD investigations - this is a 278 percent increase from the comparable period in the previous administration.
