The Office of Global Data Policy and Privacy (GDPP) supports U.S. industry interests in discussions on data protection, privacy. and cross-border data flows. This team implements the Data Privacy Framework, leads US efforts related to the Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) Forum, and works to address government actions and policies that might unduly limit or impede cross border data flows.
