Global eCommerce Saves Medical Education Provider From Downsizing

Based in Memphis, Tennessee, Healthclick creates, markets, and delivers premium live and online medical education. With sales declining by 80% at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Healthclick was faced with the real possibility of downsizing. 

Having worked with the U.S. Commercial Service (CS) in Memphis before, Healthclick sought advice from them on how to leverage shifting global trends and increase sales internationally. CS Memphis helped Healthclick to develop their international business expansion plan, including their digital strategy.

A Website Globalization Review (WGR) Service revealed existing issues that helped Healthclick’s website export sales channel to better fit the client’s current business model; a WGR service and consultation optimized Healthclick’s transition to an online subscription service organization. CS Memphis also recommended modifications to the main page and advised Healthclick to ensure their compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
