Tech startups from South Africa interested in expanding their business operations into the United States are invited to attend this Information Session on SelectUSATech and learn how to qualify to participate in the South African SelectUSA Tech Pitchfest.

Why Should You Attend the SelectUSA Tech Information Session? 

To learn about:
•    The qualifying criteria for South African companies for the Pitchfest.
•    Target sectors: CleanTech, HealthTech, ICT/Software, and Open Tech
•    Startup capital how-to sessions.
•    How to increase visibility for your company’s product/service visibility to U.S. audiences.

Why Should You Pitch at the South African Pitchfest? 

•    The winner of the South African pre-SelectUSATech Pitching Event will receive a free ticket $960 value to the SelectUSA Investment Summit, and the opportunity to pitch in a regional pitching competition at the Investment Summit against the winners of SelectUSA Tech Pitching Events across their region. 
•    Gain experience pitching in front of an audience of other entrepreneurs, U.S. economic development organizations, service providers, incubators/accelerators, VC and angel investors, industry experts, and U.S. government officials.
•    Receive actionable feedback from a panel of judges (to include industry experts, venture capitalists, successful entrepreneurs, and other representatives of the local and/or U.S. startup ecosystem).
•    Practice engaging in Q&A with judges to help refine your pitch and refine your U.S. market entry plan.
•    We’re seeking women tech entrepreneurs for our Select Global Women in Tech Mentorship Network
