On March 1 and 2, 2022, the U.S. Commercial Service in Montreal will host a two-part webinar series on the Province of Quebec's Critical Minerals and Electric Vehicles and Battery Sectors. These informative sessions will provide an industry outlook and overview of the opportunities for U.S. exporters.

The U.S. Commercial Service in Montreal invites U.S. exporters to a two-day webinar highlighting regional opportunities in the Province of Quebec for critical minerals, and electric transportation sectors.  

The province is a key U.S. partner to achieve mutually beneficial critical and strategic minerals and green economy goals as outlined in the Roadmap for a Renewed U.S.-Canada Partnership and the U.S. and Canada Action Plan on Critical Minerals Cooperation and is well-positioned to offer a full value chain from mineral extraction to battery manufacturing and recycling.  


March 1 – On this day, U.S. exporters of mining technology equipment and services sectors will benefit from presentations from Quebec provincial government officials and private sector representatives on the current and future opportunities for business and investment.

March 2 – This webinar will focus on Quebec’s Electric Vehicle and Battery Sector overviews and business opportunities available to U.S. exporters of intelligent transportation systems, charging station technologies, energy storage, battery supply chain and engineering, design, and construction services.
