Media Advisory: Commerce Under Secretary William Kimmitt to Speak at Cyclic Materials Facility Grand Opening in Mesa
MESA, ARIZONA — U.S. Department of Commerce Under Secretary William Kimmitt will join Cyclic Materials for a grand opening ceremony for their new facility. The Cyclic Materials facility is designed to process up to 25,000 metric tons of end-of-life products annually, using automated technology to recover rare earth magnets from materials already in circulation. The opening brings new domestic capacity online as the United States works to secure the rare earth materials needed for defense, AI, robotics, automotive and advanced manufacturing.
