On May 19, 2026, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its preliminary affirmative determinations in the antidumping duty (AD) investigations of chromium trioxide from India and the Republic of Türkiye (Türkiye).

  • Based on the publication date of these preliminary determinations in the Federal Register, Commerce is scheduled to make its final determinations in the AD and companion CVD investigations of Chromium Trioxide from India on or around October 7, 2026, and is scheduled to make its final determination in the AD investigation of chromium trioxide from Türkiye on or around August 10, 2026.
  • Commerce is also conducting a concurrent countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of chromium trioxide from India.
