Mexico Issues a Preliminary Determination in the Antidumping Duty Investigation into PVC Suspension from the United States 

On March 24, 2026, Mexico’s International Trade Practices Unit (UPCI) issued a preliminary determination in the antidumping (AD) investigation into PVC suspension from the United States. Learn more about the provisional rates assigned to U.S. producers/exporters.

Products Under Investigation

The product(s) subject to this investigation is vinyl chloride monomer homopolymer obtained by the suspension polymerization process, commonly known as PVC suspension, PVC suspension resin, or simply PVC.  In its most basic form it is a white, odorless, water-insoluble, tasteless and non-toxic powder.  PVC resin is the primary input in PVC pipe and used in various other industrial applications. The merchandise under investigation is currently classified under Mexico’s tariff code 3904.10.03.
