UAE Abu Dhabi Reduction in License Fees

Abu Dhabi is streamlining processes to start new commercial enterprises.  ADDED established an “Investor Journey Program” and the Abu Dhabi Residents Office (ADRO) as part of its ongoing initiatives to improve the ease of doing business and attract talent.  The reduced requirements, which act as prerequisites to starting operations for a new business, reduce the time and cost needed to embark on a new venture.

ADDED is also working closely with the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA) to improve the commercial licensing services on the Abu Dhabi Government Services website (TAMM).

The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) also has resources available for companies looking to set up operations or offices in Abu Dhabi. Incentives may be available as well in certain cases.

The new fees became effective August 1, 2021. New rules make it significantly easier to set up a new venture in Abu Dhabi across all types of commercial activities. Commercial licenses may be obtained through the Abu Dhabi Government Services website (TAMM)
