Qatar Energy Utility Sector 3rd Phase Strategy (2026-2030)
Kahramaa, Qatar’s national utility corporation, has launched the third phase of its long-term strategy (2026–2030), titled “The Leading Practices Phase.” The launch followed the successful completion of two previous phases focused on institutional readiness and strategic culture. This initiative builds on Kahramaa’s long-term strategic journey initiated in 2014, which aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third National Development Strategy (NDS3). The shared aim of those initiatives was to strengthen energy and water security and contribute to sustainable development in Qatar.
This third phase focuses on strengthening readiness for a dynamic and evolving utility sector through scientific assessments, enhanced organizational capacity, improved structural framework, robust audit systems, and precise performance monitoring. Kahramaa will implement these measures to meet rising national demand, prioritize customer satisfaction, and uphold Qatar’s standards for reliable, high-quality electricity and water services, charting a clear roadmap toward sustainable growth and corporate excellence.
