Poland Advanced IT Services
The Ministry of Digital Affairs in Poland announced its plans related to digital affairs in 2026-2027. Its key priorities are to build national infrastructure and regulatory frameworks for artificial intelligence, enhance cybersecurity, safeguard children and young people online, combat disinformation, improve data-governance standards, and further expand public digital services such as mObywatel, e-Delivery, and the national electronic documentation system. In addition, the Ministry will focus on developing digital competencies, supporting innovation and connectivity, and strengthening technological sovereignty to bolster Poland’s economic resilience and national security.
The Ministry will also focus on AI systems, including creating Polish language models and increasing computing capacity through two AI factories in Poznań and Kraków, which will provide supercomputing resources, data centers, and training for researchers, businesses, and public administration. The Ministry plans to implement the EU AI Act into Polish law, introduce regulatory sandboxes for safe testing of AI solutions, and support technology sandboxes for local governments and public institutions.
Over the next two years, the Ministry of Digital Affairs will finalize Poland’s new State Digitalization Strategy through 2035 and will begin implementing it. The Strategy’s priorities are improving citizens’ digital skills and advancing digital transformation across all areas of government operations.
The Ministry will also continue developing the mObywatel mobile application. New features will be implemented, such as the European Digital Identity Wallet, enabling identity verification across the European Union. The long-term goal, aligned with the Strategy for 2026-2027, is to make all key public e-services available in mObywatel by 2035.
