China-Products Removed from CCC Catalogue

On December 3, 2018, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) 
announced the removal of 12 products from the Chinese Compulsory Certificate (CCC) catalogue, and the addition of 4 products to the list of products approved for self-declaration. The announcement was effective upon release. The 12 products removed include:

1. Reciprocating saw (electrical tools)
2. Plug-in concrete vibrator (electrical tools)
3. Electric wood milling and trimming machine (electrical tools)
4. Electric stone cutter (electrical tools)
5. Wire feeder (welding)
6. TIG Welding Torch (welding)
7. MIG/MAG Welding Torch (welding)
8. Welding Clamp (welding)
9. Copier (IT equipment)
10. Automobile retroreflector (automobile and safety accessories)
11. Anti-theft safe (security products)
12. Anti-theft box (security products)

The 4 products approved for self-declaration include:

1. Radio tuning receiver for various broadcast waves (A/V equipment)
2. Device for indirect vision (automobile safety accessories)
3. Vehicle tracking device (automobile safety accessories)
4. Reflective car tape (automobile safety accessories)
