China Design and Construction Heilongjiang Ice and Snow Projects

Heilongjiang Province experiences many months of cold weather annually. In March 2022, Heilongjiang released its 2022-2030 Ice and Snow Economic Development Plan to promote its natural ice and snow industry.

The plan outlines several goals for ice tourism, including building ski and snow tourism resorts. Heilongjiang will also upgrade several snow entertainment parks, including Yabuli Ski Resort, Harbin Ice and Snow World, Four Seasons Ice and Snow Project, and Hengdao Linhai Snowfield Resort.

These potential projects present opportunities for U.S. design and engineering services firms as well as businesses providing green building materials targeting cold zones, lighting and HVAC products, and snow making and removal equipment.
