Madagascar Imposes Safeguard Duties on Global Imports of Tomato Products
On July 3, 2026, Madagascar’s National Authority for Trade Remedies (ANMCC) issued a final determination in its safeguard investigation into global imports of tomato products and imposed a safeguard measure. The final duties assigned for U.S. producers/exporters can be found in Section 5 of the Final Determination notice.

Product Subject to the Measure
The products subject to this measure are tomato products. The subject merchandise is currently classified under tariff codes 20021000, 20029000, 20095000 and 21032000.
