On July 15, 2026, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced the initiation of antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of certain choline salts (choline salts) from the People’s Republic of China (China).

Next Steps
- The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) is currently scheduled to issue its preliminary determinations on or around August 10, 2026. For more information related to the ITC’s timeline, please refer to the ITC’s calendar.
- If the ITC issues affirmative preliminary determinations, Commerce would be scheduled to announce its preliminary determination on September 18, 2026, for the CVD investigation, and on December 2, 2026, for the AD investigation. These deadlines may be extended in accordance with the statute.
