ILA Berlin 2026 – Think Tank of the Aerospace Industry

June 10-14, 2026

It’s never too early to earmark your calendar for ILA Berlin 2026, taking place June 10 to 14, in Berlin-Schönefeld, Germany. As the leading marketing platform for the aerospace industry in continental Europe, taking place every two years, the next edition of show will highlight the latest developments and innovations at the Berlin ExpoCenter Airport next to Berlin Brandenburg Willy Brandt Airport (BER). At ILA Berlin 2024, some 600 exhibitors from 31 countries presented their products and services to 95,000 visitors, a third of them professional visitors. The show attracted 200 delegations from 60 countries, a significant increase from the previous event in 2022. Once again, ILA 2026 will bring the world’s main industry players to Berlin and create an environment that fosters deal-making. The organizers are expecting 650 exhibitors from 35 countries and 1,500 media representatives from 40 countries. ILA 2026 will cover the following segments:

  • Aviation
  • Space
  • Defense and Support
  • Suppliers
  • Advanced Air Mobility
  • Helicopters
  • Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS)
  • Future Lab
  • ILA Career Hub

Moreover, the show will be accompanied by some 100 conferences covering a wide range of topics.

Exhibitor Support Program (ESP)

The U.S. Commercial Service will be present to work with a select number of U.S. companies at ILA 2026. Through the ESP, we will be able to provide you with a variety of services, including market research, assistance in connecting with suitable business partners and other customized services, all designed to promote your exports before, during and after the show. This unique opportunity is offered for U.S. companies only. The ESP includes the following elements:

  • Focused email promotion of U.S. exhibitors to local contacts in the aerospace and defense industry (FREE)
  • On-site counseling, market research, and interpreting assistance (FREE)
  • Company and products listing on the German/European buyer-targeted ILA 2026 promotion page (FREE)

The ESP is usually flanked by an International Promotion Program (IPP), which extends the outreach to other European markets. In 2026, we plan to offer limited international support during the show due to other resource-intensive events. We will do even more in Germany and the neighboring markets.

Global Business Navigator Chatbot Beta

Welcome to the Global Business Navigator, an artificial intelligence (AI) Chatbot from the International Trade Administration (ITA). This tool, currently in beta version testing, is designed to provide general information on the exporting process and the resources available to assist new and experienced U.S. exporters. The Chatbot, developed using Microsoft’s Azure AI services, is trained on ITA’s export-related content and aims to quickly get users the information they need. The Chatbot is intended to make the benefits of exporting more accessible by understanding non-expert language, idiomatic expressions, and foreign languages.

Limitations

As a beta product, the Chatbot is currently being tested and its responses may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information. The Chatbot is trained to decline out of scope or inappropriate requests. The Chatbot’s knowledge is limited to the public information on the Export Solutions web pages of Trade.gov, which covers a wide range of topics on exporting. While it cannot provide responses specific to a company’s product or a specific foreign market, its reference pages will guide you to other relevant government resources and market research. Always double-check the Chatbot’s responses using the provided references or by visiting the Export Solutions web pages on Trade.gov. Do not use its responses as legal or professional advice. Inaccurate advice from the Chatbot would not be a defense to violating any export rules or regulations.

Privacy

The Chatbot does not collect information about users and does not use the contents of users’ chat history to learn new information. All feedback is anonymous. Please do not enter personally identifiable information (PII), sensitive, or proprietary information into the Chatbot. Your conversations will not be connected to other interactions or accounts with ITA. Conversations with the Chatbot may be reviewed to help ITA improve the tool and address harmful, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate questions.

Translation

The Chatbot supports a wide range of languages. Because the Chatbot is trained in English and responses are translated, you should verify the translation. For example, the Chatbot may have difficulty with acronyms, abbreviations, and nuances in a language other than English.
