On July 30, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced the final affirmative determinations in the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of brass rod from Israel.

In the Petitions, the petitioners contend that imports of brass rod from Israel may be misclassified under HTSUS 7403.21.0000 and provide supporting documentation to support their claim. As a result, the above import statistics for Israel reflect imports entered under HTSUS subheadings 7407.21.1500, 7407.21.7000, and 7407.21.9000, and 7403.21.0000.

Always double-check the Chatbot’s responses using the provided references or by visiting the Export Solutions web pages on Trade.gov. Do not use its responses as legal or professional advice. Inaccurate advice from the Chatbot would not be a defense to violating any export rules or regulations.
