On June 29, 2021, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its affirmative final determinations in the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of certain metal lockers and parts thereof (metal lockers) from China.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, accessed through Global Trade Atlas (Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings 9403.20.0078, 9403.20.0080 (for imports prior to July 2019), and 9403.90.8041). In addition, subject certain metal lockers may also enter under HTS subheading 9403.20.0050. Volume data are not reported prior to July 2019. Imports of certain metal lockers and parts thereof enter under HTSUS subheadings that cover subject and non-subject merchandise; therefore, the import data may be overstated. The petitioners estimated the 2019 volume of imports of certain metal lockers and parts thereof at 79 million pounds.

The petitioners are DeBourgh Manufacturing Co. (La Junta, Colorado), List Industries, Inc. (Deerfield Beach, FL), Penco Products, Inc. (Greenville, NC), and Tennsco LLC (Dickson, TN).
