On April 30, 2026, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced the initiation of antidumping duty (AD) investigations of tin mill products from the People’s Republic of China (China), Taiwan, and the Republic of Türkiye (Türkiye), and the initiation of a countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of tin mill products from China.

- The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) is currently scheduled to issue its preliminary determination on or around May 26, 2026. For more information related to the ITC’s timeline, please refer to the ITC’s calendar.
- If the ITC issues an affirmative preliminary determination, Commerce would be scheduled to announce its preliminary determination on July 6, 2026, for the CVD investigation, and on September 16, 2026, for the AD investigations. These deadlines may be extended in accordance with the statute.
