Lesley Elouaradia is the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Services. In this role, she oversees the daily operations for Services, ensuring that staff have the resources they need to create the policy conditions for U.S. digital, financial, supply chain and other services industries to compete around the world.

Lesley has over 28 years of international trade policy experience and has held several positions at ITA during her career. Prior to serving as the Executive Director for Services, Lesley co-directed the ITA Secretariat, in the office of the Deputy Under Secretary, coordinating policy across ITA to support senior ITA and Commerce officials in their engagements with U.S. companies and their international counterparts. In her role as co-director for the ITA Secretariat, Lesley dedicated much of her time to improving internal ITA processes and was instrumental in ensuring effective communication and continuity during the six Administration transitions. 

Lesley also served as the Deputy Director for the Advocacy Center, where she was responsible for overseeing U.S. government advocacy coordination to advance the global competitiveness of U.S. companies seeking to enter new markets and win public contracts in foreign markets around the world. Lesley started at ITA as an import compliance specialist in what is now Enforcement & Compliance enforcing U.S. trade laws and agreements to prevent unfairly traded imports.
