REEEAC

In support of U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency manufacturers and services providers, the U.S. Department of Commerce has re-established the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (REEEAC). The REEEAC shall advise the Secretary regarding the development and administration of programs and policies to expand the competitiveness of U.S. exports of renewable energy and energy efficiency goods and services, in accordance with applicable United States regulations. In total, the 6th Charter of the REEEAC (2020-2022) held nine meetings and submitted 12 recommendations to the U.S. Department of Commerce.

On May 27, 2022, the REEEAC was rechartered for 2022-2024 (7th Charter). Please refer to the revised charter below for details on the scope, roles/responsibilities, and diversity requirements.

The second meeting of the 7th charter will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Washington, DC from approximately 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the U.S. Department of Commerce. It will also be accessible online via WebEx. Members of the public wishing to participate either in person or online must register in advance with Designated Federal Officer Cora Dickson at the contact information below by 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, March 31, 2022.
