Alex H. Stoddard
Alexander H. Stoddard is Director of the ITA’s Office of Legislative & Intergovernmental Affairs (OLIA). In this role, he coordinates and leads all liaison work with Congress and develops and assists with the presentation of ITA’s presented views and policies, in collaboration with the Under Secretary, to appropriate congressional committees and offices of Members of the U.S. House and Senate.
Prior to joining the ITA, Alex worked in the private sector. He led the Washington office as its lead executive for MeadWestvaco Corp., a major packaging and specialty chemicals manufacturer. Earlier, he worked as a government relations director at the American Forest & Paper Association. He began his career in Washington on Capitol Hill - as a legislative aide (The Hon. Olympia J. Snowe.)
Mr. Stoddard holds a Master of Public Administration, Syracuse University - Maxwell School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree, Bowdoin College.
