| MDCP Projects Help ITA Fulfill Its Mission |
| |
ITA's Mission: To create prosperity by strengthening the competitiveness of U.S. industry, promoting trade and investment, and ensuring fair trade and compliance with trade laws and agreements.
MDCP projects should be designed to help the ITA fulfill its mission. Examples of projects compatible with ITA's mission are shown below.
In order to be competitive, projects should demonstrate that they can produce substantial exports during the project award period. On average, from 1997 through 2011, MDCP projects generated $211 in exports for every $1 of MDCP award made.
