On Thursday, Secretary Pritzker will release
the trade statistics for 2013. Here at the International Trade Administration,
we are very excited to see the U.S. export numbers for the year.
This release follows President Obama’s State
of the Union Address. Last week the President outlined trade and foreign
direct investment as priorities for supporting and advancing the U.S.

development mission and helping encourage American exporters to Look South
to expand their export markets. Latin
America is a perfect market to explore, as our 11 free trade agreements
decrease the barriers to entering those markets.
