The International Trade Administration is focused on growing the U.S. economy by expanding opportunities abroad. To support ITA’s efforts, the Office of Trade & Economic Analysis assesses the impact of trade policies on the U.S. and world economies.
The International Trade Administration’s annual Jobs Supported by Exports estimates the number of jobs in the United States required to produce U.S. exports. The analysis uses annual data from the Industry Accounts published by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
