Mary Isbister
President, GenMet
Mary Isbister is President of GenMet, a 70 employee metal fabricating company located in Mequon, Wisconsin, which manufactures metal parts for the automotive and construction industries. Since Ms. Isbister purchased GenMet in 1999, it has experienced quadruple revenue growth, become Certified by the Organization for International Standards (ISO), and undergone a transformation to streamline the organization and management approach. GenMet has been awarded the Fabricator Industry Award for 2010 by the National Fabricators and Manufacturers Association. Previously, Ms. Isbister worked at Pfizer for 11 years where she held positions in medicinal chemistry, clinical research, and senior organizational development. Prior to that, Ms. Isbister founded Synergy Solutions, an organizational development and strategic planning consulting business.
