Chandra Brown, Manufacturing Council Vice-Chairwoman
President, United Streetcar and Vice President, Oregon Iron Works, Inc.
Chandra Brown is President of United Streetcar, a subsidiary of Oregon Iron Works, Inc. (OIW), where she has been Vice President for 15 years. As Vice President, she is responsible for overall business development and marketing and government relations, and as President of United Streetcar, she oversees manufacturing and sales of streetcars throughout the United States. Ms. Brown was appointed to the Oregon Business Development Commission in 2010 and served on the Oregon Innovation Council in 2005. In 2005, she was selected as one of Oregon Business Magazine’s Top 50 Business Leaders in the State. OIW is based in Clackamas, OR, with 350 employees, and $114M in sales. OIW manufactures structural metal for hydroelectric bridges and dams, streetcars and for several other sectors such as nuclear and missile defense.
